Sam is a born raised New Englander, hailing from Massachusetts where yes, she did in fact live next to three Dunkin’ Donuts and throw tea into the ocean (no, really… it was a field trip in third grade – never mind). In her day-to-day life she has a rather mundane desk job building newspapers for 9-12 hours a day, which allows for a lot of time to listen to podcasts. She’s also a free-lance writer, a self-published author, and is only capable of talking about herself in third person. She sometimes moonlights as a normal human being.
She is a loud and proud member of the LGBTQIA community (and yes, the friendliness of a podcast to that community will be an important aspect of reviews), with a wonderful wife who supports all her weird projects and endeavors, and two fur children – a nine-year-old possibly maine coon-tabby cat mix named Stevie (adopted at the age of five, no clue about her lineage) and an itty bitty three-year-old Pomeranian named Rivkah, who is half half the weight of the cat. It’s pretty funny to watch the cat chase the dog.
When not wasting away at her desk building newspapers, Sam enjoys writing, reading, video games, online roleplaying, watching TV, oh and sometimes she sleeps. Sometimes. When the cat allows her to sleep. It doesn’t happen often.
